Usually I don’t go to see horror movies. I was convinced by a special someone to go with her to this one.
I didn’t know what to expect, because I didn’t see any trailers, nor was this movie something I was wanting to see.
The good thing about watching this film was that I went to a theater that the ticket price was only $5. This was an upside. Now lets get to the actual movie. Something I didn’t like was all the motion. I know that Paramount is trying to push the idea that this is all real footage. But lets get real… Even I, someone who has never gone to film school, someone who doesn’t have properĀ training with a camera could hold one steadier than that of the two main characters in this film. However, half of the movie was shot on a tripod which gave us a break to go to the bathroom and puke from motion sickness.
Now lets talk about the tripod shots. It happens so much in the movie it begins to make the movie extremely predictive, and redundant. You could tell exactly when something was going to happen.
I was still impressed with it. I would See it.
